적용사례6-초음파 누설진단 카메라 Leak shooter-스팀트랩

초음파의 음향방출(Acoustic emission)을 이용한 계측카메라인 Leak shooter는 스팀트랩분야에 활용할 수 있다. 그 발생위치를 헤드폰으로 가청음을 통해서 진단할 뿐만 아니라 카메라를 통해서 육안으로 직접 확인하는 방법으로 화면에 그 위치와 크기가 표기된다. 다음의 사례를 통해서 그 적용을 알아본다

스팀트랩을 듣고 보며 결함을 감지하는 방법(How to analyze and listen to a Steam Trap with a LEAKSHOOTER LKS1000 ?)

A steam trap (thermostatic, inverted bucket, float, thermodynamic, venturi nozzle,…) is a device used to discharge condensate and non-condensable gases with a negligible consumption or loss of steam. 스팀트랩(서모스태틱, 증기변환버킷, 스팀플로트, 서버다이나믹, 벤츄리노즐 등)은 보상 비보상용 가스를 방출조절하는데 사용되는 기구로서 스팀의 소비량은 무시할 수 없다. Most steam traps are nothing more than automatic valves. 대체로 스팀트랩은 자동밸브이며 자동으로 개폐 및 조절기능을 하게 된다. They open, close or modulate automatically. Steam trap failures can affect process operations and reduce profits. The movement of fluid in a closed system develops ultrasonic noise. 그러나 스팀트랩의 작동오류는 공정오류로 인한 이익의 감소로 연결될 수 있고 폐구간시스템(닫혀있어야만 하는 구조)에서 유체의 거동은 초음파노이즈를 발생하게 된다. Our ultrasonic testing camera LEAKSHOOTER LKS1000 recognize the noise created by flowing condensate or steam, and can be used to check a trap operating condition. 초음파 시험카메라인 Leakshooter는 이러한 보상용 가스나 스팀의 유동시 발생하는 초음파 노이즈를 인식하므로 트랩의 작동상태를 체크하는데 사용된다. 다음은 스팀트랩을 이용하는 기본 범위이다. Defaults results in a Steam Trap:

Defaults (mechanical blocking, wear, obstruct…) in Steam Trap can generate: - Harmful water hammer for plants and people working nearby (explosion of pipe, valve, trap ...!) 스팀트랩에서 기계적인 파손과 막힘, 마모 등은 플랜트의 해로운 워터해머링으로 인한 안전사고(파이프의 폭발, 밸브나 트랩의 폭발)로 이어질 수 있다.- Regulation process problem: temperature, pressure… - Rust and corrosion problem due to a bad condensates discharge - Energetic performance loss (financial loss of several thousand of € per year and per faulty trap)  또한 정규적인 공정문제(온도, 압력)의 원인인 부식,  이탈 등은 스팀트랩의 보상 방출의 불량문제 등에 기인하며, 에너지성능의 손해(연감소 수천 유로의 재정적손실)도 트랩의 비정상작동으로부터 나타난다. 이러한 중요한 기능을 하는 스팀트랩의 오류를 감지할 수 있는 방법은 무엇인가? How to detect these defaults in a steam trap? :

With the new ultrasonic vision/detection combined technology LEAKSHOOTER LKS1000 and with a special contact probe, it is possible to detect and listen to these defaults (open, closed, leak…) which create ultrasonic wave due to presence of steam and condensate flow during the running cycle. Leakshooter 초음파 검출카메라의 특별 탐침봉을 이용해서 초음파가 발생하는 위치의 트랩을 잡아 작동중인 보상류나 스팀의 상태와 양을 읽는다. It is then possible to detect and listen to the normal condition (almost CYCLING) of the steam trap and then detects anomalies (permanent Open or Closed trap). 정상적인 싸이클에서 들리는 스팀트랩의 초음파 양과 비정상상태(개방되거나 닫혀만 있는)의 초음파 양은 다르다는 것을 알 수 있다. During CLOSED position, LKS1000 will detect nothing (GREEN and no target and no noise in headphone >fig.1). During OPENED position, LKS1000 will detect ultrasonic waves (YELLOW or RED target and noise in headphone >fig.2). CYCLING period is often some seconds. If it is “moving”, trap is OK! 이 경우 초록색 표시의 양(트랩이 닫혀있을 때)과 헤드폰에서도 화면에서도 노이즈가 들리지 않을 때는 노랑색이나 빨강색으로 타깃이 변할 때 또는 헤드폰에서 노이즈가 발생할 때와 구별이 된다. 따라서 정상적인 사이클의 스팀트랩은 몇 초 동안에도 이러한 색깔이 변하게 측정 또는 들리게 되는 것이다
